Halloween classics x drugstore glam: spooky beauty product photography ideas

I love a drugstore. I especially love a drugstore during Halloween. As a San Francisco still life photographer, I find something nostalgic about strolling the aisles during spooky season. It feels like a mini treasure hunt for unexpected, creative finds.

Inspiration from classic beauty ads

Pairing props with cosmetics for spooky photography

In this Halloween-themed series, I paired classic props with everyday cosmetics for a playful twist on product photography. A witch finger proudly shows off a fresh manicure, a plastic spider crawls across a mascara wand, and vampire fangs take a bite out of blood red lipstick. Each pairing captures the Halloween spirit and creates inspiration for spooky beauty photography and Halloween-themed product photography.
