Sara Anderson is a still-life and product photographer based in San Francisco

She combines design thinking with visual storytelling to create bold, sculptural imagery that balances polish with play. With a background in fine art and design, her work feels both meticulously crafted and conceptually fresh.

Sara partners with brands and agencies to produce still life, jewelry, beauty, and lifestyle photography that distills ideas into moments of clarity and curiosity. Each image is designed to engage both aesthetically and strategically—strengthening visual storytelling across campaigns, e-commerce, and social media.

Her ability to translate abstract ideas into high-impact visuals makes her an ideal creative and strategic partner.

Frequently asked questions

What types of photography do you offer?

I specialize in still life and product photography focused on jewelry, cosmetics, and design-driven goods.

Do you work with small businesses and boutiques?

Yes. I offer flexible packages that make it easy for independent brands to get professional, campaign-ready imagery.

Do you handle concepting and styling?

Yes. Every project includes creative direction, styling, lighting, and retouching. If you have a moodboard or direction, we’ll build from there.

How does pricing work?

Each project is scoped individually based on creative needs, number of images, and usage. I provide clear, tiered packages and transparent estimates upfront.

What does the process look like?

Every project starts with a short conversation to understand your goals, visual style, and deliverables. From there, I plan the props, sets, and lighting approach to support your product and brand. Shoots take place in my studio, where I work with controlled lighting and careful object handling. Final images are edited, retouched, and delivered ready for use across campaigns, e-commerce, and social.

When can we start?

Most shoots are booked 2–4 weeks out. For larger campaigns or specific launch dates, it’s best to reach out early.

What do I receive after the shoot?

You’ll receive fully edited, high-resolution images ready for print and web, plus a web-optimized set for social and e-commerce.
